When Andras Pocsai joined Simms & Associates in mid-2024, the company had around 60 employees. Two years later, that number has grown to more than 80.

For Andras, joining Simms & Associates was an opportunity to broaden his understanding of workforce management and explore the different ways businesses can support their customers.

What he found was a company that combined professional opportunities with a close-knit, approachable culture.

Growing without losing the personal touch

Andras remembers his first impression of Simms & Associates as a small, family-sized business.

While the company has grown and its internal processes have become more streamlined, he believes the culture has remained remarkably consistent.

What stands out most is the openness and kindness between colleagues, and the knowledge that there is always someone to turn to, whether for a professional discussion or a personal conversation.

He particularly values the accessibility of the leadership team and the regular updates that keep everyone connected to what’s happening across the business.

Making connections beyond the screen

One of Andras’s most memorable experiences was Global Connect in Barcelona in 2025.

For the first time, he had the opportunity to meet many of the colleagues he had previously known only through virtual interactions.

The experience left a lasting impression and reinforced the sense of connection he had felt since joining.

For Andras, that feeling of belonging is an important part of what makes working at Simms & Associates different.

Learning to see the bigger picture

Since joining, Andras has discovered just how many different ways Simms & Associates can support customers in workforce management.

Working as a consultant has also helped him appreciate the range of skills needed to understand customer challenges and deliver the best possible outcomes.

One lesson has particularly stayed with him: never assume you’ve heard everything when it comes to understanding client requirements.

It’s a reminder of the importance of listening, asking questions and remaining open to learning.

And when asked what has made him stay, his answer is simple:

“The people, the flexibility, and the autonomy that comes with it all.”

Looking ahead

As Simms & Associates celebrates its tenth birthday, Andras is excited about the company’s next chapter.

He sees opportunities in the development of its own offerings, including Kwenta Vault and Kwenta Predict, alongside the ambition to become more platform-agnostic.

For him, the future brings opportunities to expand what the company can offer customers while continuing to strengthen the way teams work together.

And as Simms & Associates continues to grow, he hopes the openness, accessibility and personal connections that first impressed him will remain at the heart of its culture.
