Joining a new company is a big step. Moving to a new country to do it makes it even bigger.
When Daniela Ricci joined Simms & Associates nearly three years ago, the company was still much smaller than it is today. Although she’d hoped to join the business on previous occasions, it wasn’t until the right opportunity came along that everything fell into place.
Relocating from Argentina to Spain was a significant step, but throughout the transition, Daniela never felt like she was doing it alone.
“What really made the difference for me was the support I received during the whole relocation proces
A company with big ambitions
When Daniela joined, Simms & Associates was a smaller organisation with a clear vision for the future.
Over the past three years, she’s watched the company grow significantly while continuing to build on the values that attracted her from the beginning.
“It was a small company, but with a big vision for the future.”
Growing through new challenges
Starting a new job while adapting to a new country and culture was a challenge, but it quickly became an opportunity for growth.
Daniela credits her first project, and the guidance of an experienced Lead Solution Consultant, with helping her build confidence and understand the collaborative way Simms delivers for customers.
Today, she enjoys working across multiple teams and organisations, bringing people together to solve complex challenges.
“My first project was a great learning experience. It gave me the confidence I needed to grow in my role.”
Support that never changes
As Simms has expanded globally, Daniela believes one thing has remained constant: people are always willing to help.
Whether it’s answering questions, sharing technical expertise or offering guidance, she says colleagues genuinely want each other to succeed.
“Nobody thinks any question is a silly question. People are always willing to support you and share their experience.”
One team, one goal
For Daniela, what makes Simms & Associates special is its global mindset.
Different countries, cultures and perspectives all come together with one shared purpose: delivering the best possible outcomes for customers.
“We all share the same objective, and that’s what makes the culture so special.”
As Simms & Associates celebrates its tenth birthday, Daniela is proud to have grown alongside the company. Her journey is a reminder that when people feel supported from day one, they’re empowered to grow, contribute and help shape the future together.
