About the role

A Services Architect plays a pivotal part in ensuring that customer needs are thoroughly understood and met through tailored solutions. They act as the main point of contact for effective communication, ensuring the delivery and continuous improvement of services. This role requires technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their business needs and requirements.
  • Evaluate customer’s needs and strategic business and technology goals to design effective service solutions.
  • Develop customized services based on standardized offering to address customer needs.
  • Support the sales process to completion coordinating all Services resources and documentation such as proposals, SOW’s, RFP responses, etc.
  • Track critical sales and pipeline data on opportunities using internal solutions.
  • Partner with Sales and Services teams to pursue and address services opportunities.
  • Act as one of the point of contacts for clear and effective communication with clients and prospects.
  • Provide a single point of contact to Sales and Services Delivery for services opportunities.
  • Proactively identify and suggest architectural improvements to existing offering or solutions.
  • Contribute to the improved efficiency of the sales and services functions by participating in the development and deployment of appropriate services and sales tools/templates.

Qualifications

  • MS Office, especially Excel.
  • 3-5+ years in a professional services role, ideally 3+ years in application software implementation and/or services sales.
  • Ability to develop and manage complex Services solutions for small to medium business to Enterprise level organizations.
  • Well versed in implementation methodology (Waterfall, Agile…) with experience defining project requirements, managing project engagements, developing project plans, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of HCM, WFM, Scheduling, Leave Management, or similar domain product/systems required.
  • Previous experience with customer presentations, developing SOW’s, responding to RFP’s, estimating projects.
