Founded in 1852, Tufts University is renowned for its rigorous academics, research excellence, and commitment to innovation. With a diverse community and a forward-thinking approach, Tufts continuously seeks to enhance its operational efficiency while maintaining its high standards of education and administration.
Navigating the Transition
Tufts University was in the process of implementing and migrating to UKG Pro WFM but encountered challenges when deciding on the most suitable scheduling software. With multiple considerations to take into account, they needed to determine which solution would best fit their operational requirements. Additionally, their existing governance structures and decision-making processes required careful evaluation to ensure a smooth transition and avoid potential roadblocks during implementation. Without a clear framework in place, aligning internal stakeholders and making informed choices became increasingly complex.
A Tailored Approach
To help Tufts navigate these challenges, we partnered closely with UKG sales representatives and the Mercer sales team to develop a well-structured and customised approach. The project began with Phase Zero, an in-depth analysis of their organisation, existing systems, governance framework, and internal decision-making structures. This initial phase allowed us to gain a comprehensive understanding of their operational landscape and identify key factors that would influence their migration strategy. By conducting this detailed assessment, we were able to guide Tufts towards a solution that not only met their immediate scheduling needs but also aligned with their long-term objectives within UKG Pro WFM.
A Confident Step Forward
Through this structured and collaborative approach, Tufts University gained greater clarity in their scheduling software selection and was able to move forward confidently with their UKG Pro WFM migration. By ensuring that their governance framework and decision-making processes were aligned with their implementation strategy, they minimised potential obstacles and created a solid foundation for a successful transition. As they progress through their migration, this tailored approach continues to provide them with the necessary structure and support to fully adopt the new system while optimising efficiency across their organisation.
