Brand Creator & Corporate Influencer

As our Brand Creator & Corporate Influencer, you will be the human face and voice of Simms & Associates — translating expertise into stories people want to watch, read, and share. You will work directly with our leadership team, customers, and consultants to create content that reflects who we are and what we stand for.

More about the role

The Brand Creator & Corporate Influencer owns the creation of external brand content and thought leadership, acting as a visible and human representative of Simms & Associates across channels.

This role combines on-camera brand representation, creative storytelling, video and podcast creation, and written thought leadership (blogs, reports, whitepapers). You work closely with Marketing, Events, Leadership, and subject-matter experts to translate expertise into compelling, on-brand content.

While subject-matter expertise and strategic viewpoints come from leadership and domain experts, this role owns the storytelling, structure, and creative execution of that content.

Your Responsibilities

Brand Presence & Humanisation

  • Act as an on-camera representative of the Simms & Associates brand
  • Humanise the brand through authentic, relatable, and values-driven storytelling
  • Ensure brand personality is consistent across all external channels
  • Represent the brand at events, recordings, and customer interactions as needed

Social Media Video Content

  • Own video-first content creation for:
    • Instagram
    • TikTok
    • LinkedIn
  • Translate brand themes, campaigns, and messages into platform-native formats
  • Plan, record, and publish short-form and mid-form video content
  • Experiment with formats while maintaining brand consistency

Creative Storytelling Series

  • Concept, develop, and execute recurring storytelling series
  • Create repeatable formats that reinforce brand values, culture, and expertise
  • Build narrative arcs that work across video, social, and written content
  • Continuously refine formats based on performance and engagement

Customer Interviews & Storytelling

  • Conduct customer interviews focused on authentic storytelling
  • Translate customer conversations into engaging video and written content
  • Capture real experiences, insights, and outcomes in a human way
  • Work with Marketing to align customer stories with campaigns and positioning

Event Impressions & Real-Time Content

  • Capture real-time content at events
  • Create event impressions, behind-the-scenes content, and highlight videos
  • Publish timely, relevant event content across social channels
  • Work closely with Events and Marketing teams during live events

Leadership Social Media Support

  • Support leadership team with social and video content creation
  • Help leaders show up consistently and authentically on LinkedIn
  • Create short-form video and storytelling content from leadership input
  • Strengthen leadership visibility while staying aligned with brand tone

Podcast Creation

  • Own podcast creation from concept through publishing
  • Support recording, editing, and distribution of podcast episodes
  • Create short-form clips and supporting content from podcast recordings
  • Align podcast themes with brand and thought leadership priorities

Video Editing & Creative Formats

  • Edit video content for multiple platforms and formats
  • Develop recognisable creative templates and visual styles
  • Ensure high-quality output while maintaining speed and authenticity
  • Adapt content for different channels and audiences

External Thought Leadership Content

  • Own creation of external written thought leadership content
  • Translate expert input from leadership, consultants, and SMEs into clear, engaging, on-brand content
  • Conduct interviews and working sessions with subject-matter experts
  • Collaborate with Marketing on content planning, campaigns, and distribution
  • Maintain consistency in tone of voice across written and video content

You are a creative storyteller with a strong on-camera presence and a sharp sense of narrative. You know how to turn complex ideas, expert opinions, and everyday moments into engaging stories that people actually want to watch, read, and share.

You are comfortable being the face of a brand — on video, on stage, at events, and online — while also working behind the scenes to shape content, edit video, and develop written thought leadership. You understand how different platforms work and instinctively adapt content to feel native on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, podcasts, and long-form formats.

You are curious, confident, and collaborative, and you thrive in a fast-moving, remote-first environment where creativity, ownership, and trust go hand in hand.

Your Qualifications

The successful candidate has/is:

  • Experience in content creation, brand storytelling, or corporate influencing
  • Strong on-camera presence and confidence in representing a brand
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience creating video content for social media platforms
  • Comfortable working with leadership and subject-matter experts
  • Creative, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Fluent English – spoken and written
  • Comfortable working in a remote-first, international organisation

And it would be preferential if the candidate has/is:

  • Experience with podcast creation and audio editing
  • Experience creating written thought leadership (blogs, reports, whitepapers)
  • Familiarity with B2B, professional services, or technology environments
  • Experience covering events and creating real-time content
  • Basic motion graphics or advanced video editing skills
